Salam all, tak sempat nak cerita what happen during the semester, tengok-tengok habis dah the semester. Frankly, the semester was a normal semester in terms of its duration @ 14 weeks macam biasa, but I was extremely busy with classes and activities..
Tapi yg paling best I was given the oppurtunity to be part of the MDAB recruitment team. What is MDAB? Well..it is a program yg being introduced by our VC. It is program MENGUBAH DESTINI ANAK BANGSA.
The objective is to give a 2nd chance to students from the low income family and who did not do well in SPM to further their studies in UiTM. Not an easy task to recruit these students..hmmm, I was given a target of 500 students..nak nangis gak la at first tapi I was dead lucky as I have 45 committee members yg ok n best to be in the team. We went to schools, we spoke to counselors, ketua kampung, orang kebajikan masyarakat and many people. Duration given was 2 minggu..tapi syukur alhamdulillah, we manage to get 1000 over applicants. That means, we are giving 2nd oppurtunity to these kids to mengubah destini hidup mereka...We may not be able to bagi duit tiap2 bulan for these people to survive but wehave assisted them to a 2nd oppurtunity to belajar dan seterusnya mengubah destini hidup mereka..amin
